Scott Carter

Scott Carter has a diverse work experience, mainly in the energy industry. Scott currently holds the role of SVP, Corporate Strategy at Southern Company Gas. Prior to this, they spent several years at Spire, where they held various leadership positions, including President of Spire Missouri, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations. Before joining Spire, Scott worked at AGL Resources as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and Chief Regulatory Officer. Scott also held positions at Atlanta Gas Light as the VP of Regulatory Affairs. Their early career included roles at Deloitte as a Senior Accountant.

Scott Carter completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Valdosta State University between 1995 and 1997. Scott also attended Berrien High from 1987 to 1990, but the degree and field of study are unknown.
