Ken Ratliff

Ken Ratliff is an experienced risk manager with Southern Company since December 2008, specializing in energy trading market and credit risk management, as well as Dodd-Frank reporting functions. Previously, Ken held various roles including project manager and team lead in risk control, focusing on market analytics for power and gas trading and portfolio optimization. Ken's background also includes positions in maintenance team leadership, outage management, and project engineering related to plant systems. Ken served in the United States Marine Corps as an expeditionary airfield specialist from August 1999 to July 2003. Ken holds a Master's in Finance from Auburn University, an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
