Simon Schwindt

Simon Schwindt possesses extensive experience in nuclear operations training and management. Currently serving as Training Director and previously as Operations Training Manager at Southern Company, Simon manages multiple accredited training programs, oversees performance analysis, and leads professional development initiatives for training staff. Prior roles include Corporate Fleet Operations Training Lead and Senior Nuclear Operations Training Instructor at Entergy, and Operations Training Manager at Duke Energy Corporation, where Simon successfully renewed program accreditations and implemented training improvements. Additionally, Simon held various operational roles at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, including Operations Shift Manager and Control Room Supervisor. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Education (Training and Development) from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University, and certificates in Psychology of Leadership and Data Analytics from Cornell University.
