Wes McCart

Wes McCart is currently the Senior Counsel at Southern Company, where the focus is on providing labor & employment counsel and managing employment litigation for multiple affiliates. Prior to this, Wes was a Partner at Martenson Hasbrouck & Simon LLP, representing businesses and individuals in various legal claims. With a background in teaching, Wes also worked as an ESOL and Spanish teacher before transitioning into the field of law. Wes holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, a Graduate Certificate in Spanish-English Translation from Georgia State University, and a B.S.Ed. in Foreign Language Education from The University of Georgia.
