Colleen Bielitz, Ph.D. has extensive experience in various leadership roles in higher education. Colleen served as the Vice President of IA & Chief Business Development Officer of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation at Becker College, where they played a key role in developing strategic relationships and driving revenue growth. Prior to that, they served as the Dean of the Accelerated, Graduate & Professional Studies Program at Becker College, overseeing academic leadership and administration. Colleen also served as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School, where they provided leadership and implemented quality improvement practices. Additionally, Bielitz worked as a Regional Enrollment Vice President at Miller/Cook & Associates, Inc., coordinating admission and retention strategies for institutions of higher learning. Colleen holds a Ph.D. and currently serves as a VP - SIO - Strategic Initiatives & Outreach at Southern Connecticut State University, where they lead strategic initiatives and external partnerships.
Colleen Bielitz, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1989. Colleen then went on to receive their Master of Science degree in Organization Leadership from Cabrini University, completing their studies between 2004 and 2006. Continuing their education, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education & Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, graduating in 2016. Additionally, Dr. Bielitz has obtained various certifications and completed courses on topics such as community group leadership, AR/VR/XR technologies, voice-over for video and animation, graphic design, storytelling for designers, AI, the blue economy, learning techniques, cryptocurrencies, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, and office sway.
