Lew Deluca

Director, Student Financial Literacy And Advising at Southern Connecticut State University

Lew DeLuca has a diverse range of work experience. From 1994 to 1996, they worked at Springfield College as an Admissions Administrative Fellow. Following this, from 1996 to 2004, they held multiple roles at Sacred Heart University, including Adjunct Professor and Director of Admissions. In 2004, they joined Southern Connecticut State University, initially serving as the Associate Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships until 2014. From 2014 onwards, they became the Director of Student Financial Literacy and Advising, providing strategic direction for financial wellness and literacy advising programs. Additionally, they have also worked at Kaplan Higher Education as a College Admissions Consultant, assisting clients with college selection and applications.

Lew DeLuca completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from Saint Michael's College from 1989 to 1993. Later, from 1994 to 1996, they earned a Master of Education (MEd) in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Springfield College. Prior to college, they obtained their High School Diploma from Winchester High School from 1985 to 1989.
