Paul Singley

Paul Singley has extensive experience in education and journalism. Currently, Paul serves as a Teacher of Humanities at Naugatuck Public Schools since August 2016, while also holding positions as an Adjunct Professor of Journalism at Southern Connecticut State University and an Adjunct Professor at Naugatuck Valley Community College since 2006. Previously, Paul taught English and Journalism at Wilby High School and worked as a Senior Reporter/Web Advocate at the Republican-American, covering local news. Paul began a career in journalism as a Senior Local Editor for Patch.com and has a solid foundation in reporting as a municipal reporter at the Republican-American. Academic credentials include a Sixth-year certification in English from the University of Bridgeport, a Master's degree in Journalism from Syracuse University, and a degree in Communications/Sports Journalism and English from Springfield College.
