Widelyne Moise Dorelus

Widelyne Moise Dorelus, MS, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising at Southern Connecticut State University since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Advisor and Career Development Coordinator at Housatonic Community College from September 2015 to June 2020, and as a College and Career Counselor at Middletown Adult Education from September 2014 to June 2019. Additionally, Widelyne worked at the State of Connecticut Department of Labor in the Employment Services Unit from May 2014 to September 2015 and completed a Graduate Internship at Middlesex Community College, CT from August 2013 to May 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as an Educational Counselor at CONNTAC TRiO-Educational Opportunity Center from January 2011 to May 2014. Widelyne holds a Master of Science in Counseling, specializing in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University.
