Chcio Scott McEachern

Scott McEachern, CHCIO, has a diverse work experience. Scott is currently working as the Chief Information Officer at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center since June 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director at Southern Coos Health Foundation, managing all aspects of fundraising for the benefit of the hospital from August 2014 to present. From 2016 to 2018, Scott was the President of Bandon-by-the-Sea Rotary Club. Before that, they worked as the Foundation Relations Coordinator at OMSI from March 2011 to July 2014. Scott also served as the Grants Manager at Portland Institute for Contemporary Art from 2007 to March 2011, and as the Development Associate at Literary Arts, Inc. in 2006. Scott started their professional journey as a Student at Portland State University from 2004 to 2006.

Scott McEachern, CHCIO, holds a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from Portland State University. Scott attended Portland State University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho.
