Chad Carriaga has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Chad is currently working at Southern Cross Corporation as a Project Supervisor/Lead Field Technician, where they manage and motivates teams of Lead Field Technicians in performing contract work projects for local gas utilities. Chad ensures maximum project production and service goals are met through performance analysis and team training.
In addition to their current role, Chad has also served in the US Army Reserves as a Patient Administration Specialist, where they managed a team and coordinated hospital operations across various departments. Chad was responsible for updating command on patient count, blood supply, and coordinating patient transport with the Air Force.
Chad's military experience includes serving as a Platoon Sergeant/Bradley Commander in the Washington Army National Guard. Chad successfully completed assigned missions during two separate Iraq deployments and underwent continuous training during non-deployment periods.
As an Independent Contractor, Chad worked as a Certified Personal Trainer, conducting in-home client visits to demonstrate healthy meal preparation and develop customized workout sessions. Chad utilized household items and available resources to help clients meet their fitness and weight loss goals.
Chad also gained experience as an Exercise Physiologist at Sound Health Solutions, where they collaborated with medical professionals to design health and wellness programs for medical weight loss patients. Chad evaluated patient metrics and pushed clients to reach their maximum capacity while considering personal limits.
Prior to their roles as a contractor and exercise physiologist, Chad worked at 24 Hour Fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer. Chad took a leave of absence for military deployment and provided innovative workout sessions to keep clients motivated. Chad also generated new business by assisting clients on the gym floor and attending fitness shows and seminars.
Chad's work experience also includes serving as an M1A1 Tank Crewman in the Kansas Army National Guard from 1994 to 2004.
Chad Carriaga holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Kansas State University. Chad also possesses a CPR & AED Certification obtained from the American Heart Association in 2001.
