John Ashley

John Ashley has an extensive work history, beginning in 2000 with their role as the General Manager at StayinFront (Asia-Pacific) Ltd. John later held positions such as Sales Director and NZ Sales Manager within the same company. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Orion Health, initially as the Solution Director for APAC and later as the Education and Enablement Line of Business Owner. John then served as the Client and Partnership Director for New Zealand. Following this, they were the CEO of Inviga Ltd, where they led a joint venture focused on providing community-based healthcare services. John Ashley then moved on to The Selwyn Foundation, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Community, responsible for strategic planning and implementing innovative care solutions. Additionally, they served as the Chair of the Board for Friendship House Trust and as a Board Member and Deputy Chair for Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ). More recently, John Ashley worked at Atlantis Health as the Director of Digital Strategy and Solutions, partnering with health psychologists to deliver digital solutions for clients worldwide. John then served as the Director of Strategy and Growth at Webtools, where they played a pivotal role in expanding the company's health data platforms and acquiring corporate customers. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Clinical and Patient Portfolio at Southern Cross Healthcare.

John Ashley completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business, at the University of Auckland Graduate School of Management from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from The University of Auckland, where they studied from 1989 to 1992.
