Steve Browning

As Chief Financial Officer, Steve is responsible for leading finance and procurement of the Southern Cross Healthcare business and Trust, as well as the group payroll function.

Steve has extensive commercial, financial and organisational leadership experience in a wide range of industries, including, healthcare with Green Cross Health, hospitality with Burger King and Starbucks, and media with TVNZ and Freeview New Zealand.

Educated at Auckland University, Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.
