Mike Ewing

Mike Ewing is an experienced academic and leader in the field of marketing, currently serving as Executive Dean at Southern Cross University since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Executive Dean and Vice President at Deakin University from March 2014 to May 2023. Previous academic appointments include professor-in-residence at DDB Group Asia Pacific, professor at Monash University where Mike was Head of Department from July 2006, and Associate Professor at Curtin University of Technology. Mike began a career in marketing at Ford Motor Company as Marketing Research Manager before transitioning into academia. Mike's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marketing from the University of Pretoria and multiple degrees in marketing from the University of Pretoria and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
