Jim Borders

Jim Borders serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Southern Wine and Spirits since September 2013, focusing on enhancing the productivity and knowledge of sales teams and administrative staff through streamlined processes and data analytics. In addition to this role, Jim has been the President of Fireside Data Services, LLC since August 2009, where the company aims to improve information management and foster a culture of continuous improvement among staff. Previously, Jim held positions at Brown-Forman from October 2005 to April 2009, including Sales Operations Manager and Market Development Manager, where responsibilities encompassed budgeting, planning, logistics, and data analyses. Jim's early career included a role as a Statistics Committee Member for NABCA from 2001 to 2005. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky, earned between 1980 and 1986.
