Robert Stewart

Robert Stewart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design and technology roles within the housing sector. Currently serving as the Head of Solution Design & Build and Head of Design & Development at Southern Housing since December 2022, Robert previously held the position of Head of Design & Development in the Technology Department at Optivo from May 2017 to December 2022. Prior to Optivo, Robert worked as a Business Solutions Manager at AmicusHorizon Ltd from May 1999 to April 2017, continuing a role initially established during tenure at Select Software UK Ltd as Development Manager (1996-1999) and earlier as a Lloyd's Marine Reinsurance Placing Broker at Jardine Thompson Graham Ltd (1987-1995). Robert holds an MSc in Computer Science and a BA (Hons) in Social Anthropology, both obtained from the University of Kent between 1984 and 1996.
