Eric Lenz

Eric Lenz is the interim director of music at Southern Illinois University. Eric previously worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University and an adjunct faculty instructor at Lindenwood University. Lenz has also worked as a graduate student instructor and teaching assistant at Southern Illinois University. Eric was the recipient of the Graduate Student Teacher of the Year award in 2015. Lenz began their career as an American English Language Assistant/Instructor with Fulbright Austria.

Eric Lenz's educational career includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, a Master's Degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Certificate to Teach English as a Foreign Language from Parkland College. Eric also has a German Language and Literature degree from the Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's Degree in Eric'story and German from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
