Sanjay Kumar Shukla

Sanjay Kumar Shukla, PhD, F.ASCE, FIEAust, CPEng, IntPE(Aus), is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering. Sanjay serves as the Founding Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Research Group Leader and Founding Program Leader at Edith Cowan University since April 2009. In addition, Sanjay holds adjunct professorships at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University Jaipur, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, BIT Sindri, and AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM, along with an honorary professorship at Amity University, Noida. Sanjay has contributed to scholarly literature as a Book Series Editor for several publications under Springer Nature Group and Taylor & Francis Group and is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Geosynthetics and Ground Engineering. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) and an MTech in Civil Engineering (Engineering Geology) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a BSc Eng in Civil Engineering from BIT Sindri.
