Michael Chambless

Michael Chambless has over 20 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, currently serving as Plant Manager at Southern Ionics Incorporated since September 2012, after progressing from Production Superintendent in December 2007. Responsibilities in this role include driving HSE standards, providing technical support for plant improvements, executing capital projects, and overseeing personnel performance and development. Prior experience includes a role as Production Supervisor/Engineer at Occidental Chemical Corp., where responsibilities involved supervising the KCL Brine Process and project engineering, as well as production supervision and engineering at Olin Corporation. Michael holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
