Charles Melhorn

Charles Melhorn currently serves as the Director of Security for Southern Land Company, overseeing security operations in a luxury residential and mixed-use building. Prior to this role, Charles was the Director of Security & Parking at Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, managing a large security team for a high-traffic entertainment venue. Charles has extensive experience in law enforcement, notably serving as the Acting Chief of Police for Manheim Township Police Department, where oversight included a significant number of sworn officers and civilian staff. Charles's law enforcement career spans various leadership roles, including Lieutenant and Sergeant, and includes experience as a Law Enforcement Instructor at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. Charles's military background includes service in security roles with both the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. Notable educational achievements include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbia Southern University and further training in Leadership and Management from Northwestern University.
