Kara joined SMIF’s Economic Development team in the fall of 2022. Raised in northern Minnesota, she graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2009. She has strengthened her entrepreneurial journey by taking a hands-on approach and working with others to understand the needs in the community. Kara has a passion for growing valuable outcomes and entrepreneurial experiences that will support the vitality of small businesses in southern Minnesota.
