Katie Godfrey Demmer

Katie oversees all of SMIF’s marketing and communication initiatives. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Katie has lived in southern Minnesota for about ten years. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2008 and worked on several organic farms before working for a non-profit where she helped organize a large festival focused on food, art, and farming. Katie was the Tourism Director at the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism for 3 years where she developed a love for marketing.
