Carla Rife

Carla Rife serves as a Staff Attorney at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Inc. since September 2022. Previously, Rife held the position of Judicial Law Clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals from December 2019 to September 2020, where responsibilities included drafting bench memos and appellate opinions. Rife also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk within the Minnesota Judicial Branch from October 2017 to October 2019, drafting judicial orders and assisting parties with inquiries. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Attorney at Randstad Professionals, a Law Student Extern with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and an intern with the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee. Rife earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
