Daniel Burns has over 30 years of experience in environmental health and engineering, currently serving as the Environmental Health Engineer Manager at Southern Nevada Health District since April 2013. In this role, Daniel oversees various environmental health engineering programs, including subdivision and solid waste plan reviews and safe drinking water evaluations. Previous positions include Environmental Health Engineer and Environmental Health Specialist at the same organization, along with several roles in environmental consulting, project management, and engineering at firms such as Kleinfelder, Wood Rodgers, and MACTEC. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology / Environmental Engineering from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Colorado State University Pueblo.
