Lisa Cole, MPH, has extensive experience in public health and administrative support. Currently serving as a Disease Data Collection Specialist/Interviewer 2 at the Southern Nevada Health District since May 2018, Lisa contributes to the Office of Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance. From April 2003 to April 2018, Lisa held various roles within Public Health – Seattle & King County, transitioning from Pharmacy Technician B to Administrative Assistant II, where responsibilities included technical clerical support, data maintenance, and customer service. Earlier roles include Marketing Assistant and Customer Service Manager at Dacor Corporation. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health & Environmental Science from A.T. Still University and a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences from York College of Pennsylvania.

This mission of the Health District is, “To assess, protect, and promote the health, the environment, and the well-being of Southern Nevada communities, residents, and visitors.” To this end, the Health District offers services and provides regulatory supervision that impact the public every day – from the food they eat and the water they drink, to the public establishments they visit, the businesses they operate and the requirements they must meet in order to work in certain industries such as food service and child care.
