Public Health Team

The Public Health Team at the Southern Nevada Health District is responsible for assessing, protecting, and promoting the health, environment, and well-being of Southern Nevada communities, residents, and visitors. This multidisciplinary team conducts disease surveillance, collects and analyzes health data, provides health education, ensures regulatory compliance, manages communicable diseases, and prepares for public health emergencies, all aimed at enhancing public health outcomes and supporting a healthier community.
