Zlatin Karanikolov

Zlatin Karanikolov is a dedicated mathematics teacher currently employed at Democracy Prep Public Schools since December 2024, after serving as a guest teacher at Clark County School District from January 2024 to December 2024. With a background in basketball officiating, Karanikolov has been a referee for the Southern Nevada Officials Association since October 2015 and previously officiated for FIBA from October 1999 to September 2014. Zlatin is pursuing a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, expected to complete in May 2024, following a Master's degree in International Economics from the University of National and World Economy (1992-1999) and a high school diploma from German Language HS focusing on English, German, and Russian (1985-1990).
