Kathi Thomas

Kathi Thomas possesses extensive experience in housing and community services, currently serving as the Chief Housing Officer at the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority. In this role, Kathi oversees a comprehensive housing portfolio, ensuring effective management of public housing and affordable units. Prior to this, Kathi held the position of Director at the Office of Community Services for the City of Las Vegas, managing federally funded programs and revitalization efforts in economically distressed areas. Kathi's earlier roles include Manager of the Neighborhood Housing and Services Division in North Las Vegas, where oversight of budgets and staff development were key responsibilities, and Executive Director at Caminar, Inc., focusing on services for disabled and low-income individuals. Kathi holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from National University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
