Katherine Carla Crank

Katherine Carla Crank is a Research Microbiologist at the Southern Nevada Water Authority since June 2022, with a robust academic and professional background in environmental health engineering and science. Previously, Katherine held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Notre Dame from August 2017 to July 2022, where contributions were made in various research roles, including Graduate Student and Research Assistant. Katherine's experience includes overseeing laboratory safety and compliance at Evangel University and providing educational support as a Laboratory and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Additional roles include a Fine Arts Clerk for the Assemblies of God, an Environmental GIS Intern with the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, and a Math and Science Tutor. Katherine earned a PhD in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and holds a degree in Environmental Science with concentrations in Chemistry and Applied Math-Chemistry from Evangel University.
