Eric Caplan

Eric Caplan is an experienced professional in the fields of environmental sustainability and resilience, currently serving as the Sustainability and Resilience Program Director at Tampa International Airport since 2022. In addition, Eric is the owner of Capi Environmental, which provides indoor air quality consulting, survey, and inspection services. Prior to these roles, Eric held various positions including Manager of Energy, Sustainability & Buildings Division at Manatee County Government and Environmental Engineer at Hillsborough County. Eric began their career as an Environmental Specialist for the State of Florida. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Emergency Management from the University of Central Florida and two Master of Science degrees in Natural Resources Management and Policy and Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida.
