Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative

The Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative is the state-licensed Maternal and Child Health Consortium serving the seven county region of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. For more than 40 years, the agency has been on the frontlines of building a healthier region for families and children. The Cooperative works closely with policymakers, healthcare providers, government agencies and individuals to develop strategies that improve the system of care. From public health education to case management and provider training, the Cooperative improves the health of families through a comprehensive set of programs that address critical issues such as infant mortality, smoking cessation, lead poisoning, perinatal substance use, postpartum depression and more. In 2002, the Cooperative established its subsidiary agency, Family Health Initiatives. The Cooperative maintains offices in Pennsauken, Camden and Absecon, New Jersey.
