Walt Lariscy

Walt Lariscy is a skilled professional with extensive experience in both the nuclear industry and kayak fishing. Currently serving as a Nuclear Technician at Southern Nuclear since February 2023, Walt previously held the role of Nuclear Security Officer at Southern Company from January 2020 to February 2023. With a strong commitment to promoting kayak fishing, Walt operates Tight Lines and Plastic Boats, empowering aspiring kayak anglers through guided trips, blogging, and educational clinics. Walt's involvement in the kayak fishing community includes leadership positions as Board Member and Board Chair at Georgia Kayak Fishing, Inc. and roles at Vibe Kayaks, Native Watercraft, and The Outside World Outfitters. Additionally, Walt has a solid educational foundation with degrees in Religious Studies and ongoing studies in Criminal Justice and Corrections at Reinhardt University, complemented by leadership training from the Army.
