Gaye Hutton Martin is an experienced educator and leadership coach currently serving as a Leadership Coach for the Teaching to Lead program at the Southern Regional Education Board since August 2018, focusing on training and coaching new career and technical education teachers. Prior to this role, Gaye held the position of Career & Technical Education Coordinator at Metro Nashville Public Schools from January 2007 to June 2018, where oversight and support were provided to over 100 educators. Gaye has also contributed to academia as a College Instructor at the University of Phoenix, teaching psychology courses from 2004 to 2006. Gaye's extensive professional background includes ownership and management of Heavenly Grounds Coffeehouse, regional training for Gannett, and various training roles at World Access Service Corporation, SunTrust Bank, and Dominion Virginia Power. Gaye earned a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Adult Learning from Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a BS in Business Teacher Education from the same institution.
