Michael Dross

Michael Dross serves as an Adjunct Professor of History at Southern Regional Technical College since August 2019 and is a Social Studies Teacher at Lawton Chiles High School, where Dross has been recognized as Teacher of the Year for the 2023-24 academic year. Dross holds multiple roles including Equal Opportunity Advisor with the U.S. Army Reserve and has experience in educational roles at Leon County Virtual School and Jefferson County School District Florida. A strong background in military service as a Religious Affairs NCO with the U.S. Army complements Dross's teaching expertise. Dross earned a Master's degree in History and a Master of Arts in Military History and World War II Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Florida State University.
