Kaitlyn Ryan

Kaitlyn Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kaitlyn began their career as a Dance Instructor at the Diana Evans School of Dance, where they taught dance from 2004 to 2013. Kaitlyn then transitioned to the Miss America Organization, serving as an Assistant Choreographer and Staging Director from 2008 to 2015. Kaitlyn pursued higher education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and obtained a Master's degree in 2018. Following their studies, they joined the University of Alabama's Chemical and Biological Engineering Department as a Student Research Assistant, where they contributed to research on caffeine degradation and enzyme engineering from 2014 to 2016. Kaitlyn continued to expand their scientific expertise by joining Southern Research as an Associate Research Scientist from 2019 to 2020 and later as an Associate Scientist DDV from 2020 to 2023. Kaitlyn'sroles at Southern Research involved business operations and project management, with their most recent position being Head of Business Operations & Project Management. Throughout their career, Kaitlyn has demonstrated a strong academic background and experience in dance instruction, research, and project management.

Kaitlyn Ryan obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from The University of Alabama. Kaitlyn attended the university from 2012 to 2016. Following their undergraduate education, Kaitlyn pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kaitlyn completed their master's program from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kaitlyn has also obtained two certifications: "How to Handle Poor Performers" and "How to Be Both Assertive and Likable" from LinkedIn. Kaitlyn received these certifications in August 2021 and June 2021, respectively.
