Shuklendu Karyakarte

Shuklendu Karyakarte, PhD, is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in chemical research and development. Currently serving as a Scientist II at Southern Research since June 2023, Karyakarte previously held the same title at the same organization from July 2017 to February 2023 and progressed through roles including Scientist I in Drug Discovery and Postdoctoral Fellow. Prior experience includes a Post-Doctoral Internship at Boehringer Ingelheim focused on novel catalytic transformations and a Graduate Research Assistantship at the University at Buffalo, where significant contributions were made to catalytic synthesis methods. Karyakarte also has teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing undergraduate students in organic chemistry. Karyakarte holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology from the Institute Of Chemical Technology.
