Geremy Macedo is a dedicated research assistant at the University of Florida, with experience in engineering composites for electromagnetic interference absorption and conducting data analysis for NSF-funded projects focusing on engineering doctoral students. Currently serving as Treasurer for the UF AI Student Advisory Council, Geremy oversees financial strategies to support AI educational initiatives. Additionally, Geremy plays a research role at the Machine Intelligence Lab, developing control systems for autonomous vehicles. Involvement extends to organizing community events as a project intern with UF Ethics in the Public Sphere and fostering community engagement as an ambassador for the Southern Scholarship Foundation. Geremy began an internship at Raytheon Technologies, further strengthening a foundation in electrical and electronics engineering, which is being pursued at the University of Florida from 2022 to 2026.
