Matt Haste

Director Of Professional Doctoral Studies, Associate Professor Biblical Spirituality at Southern Seminary Careers

Matt Haste has extensive experience in academia and the religious sector. Matt currently holds the position of Director of Professional Doctoral Studies and Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a role they have held since July 2019. Matt is also an Adjunct Instructor of Christian Ministry at the same institution since May 2013. Prior to this, they worked as a Ministry Connections staff member at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary from December 2012 to August 2015.

Matt Haste has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religious Studies from Western Kentucky University. Later, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biblical Spirituality from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary between 2011 and 2015.
