Kent Akervik

Kent Akervik has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Kent is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Southern Telecom Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Interim CFO at Pearson's Candy Company, where they played a crucial role in transforming the business for higher growth and profitability. Before that, Kent worked at Polaroid for ten years, holding the positions of COO/CFO and later as the VP Finance & Controller at Polaroid Consumer Electronics. Kent also has experience as a Consultant at Akcor LLC and held finance and accounting roles at Best Buy, The Sportsman's Guide, and Fingerhut.

Kent Akervik completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at St. Cloud State University in 1990. Following that, they pursued their Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Cloud State University and completed it in 1996.
