Dylan Emmons

Dylan Emmons is an experienced educator and advocate, currently serving as a Reading and Writing Instructor at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and CUNY Bronx Community College since 2018. With a strong background in teaching at various institutions, including Westchester Community College and Pace University, Dylan has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor and Senior Reading/Writing Tutor, focusing on developing writing skills across different courses. As a member of the Board of Directors at the Westchester Independent Living Center, Dylan advocates for autism awareness, sharing personal experiences with Asperger's Syndrome through workshops for families, educators, and caregivers. Additionally, Dylan's consulting work at The Arc of Delaware County highlights expert insights into Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dylan holds an MFA in Writing (Nonfiction) from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA in Writing from Ithaca College.
