Dane McGuirk

Dane McGuirk has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Dane started their career as a Casual Panel Operator and Street Team member at Nova 106.9 FM in 2010. From there, they worked as an Announcer at Parkes Broadcasting Company for a few months in 2012, followed by a role as a Breakfast Announcer and Music Director at Radio Hunter Valley from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Dane joined Southern Cross Austereo and served as a Breakfast Announcer until 2019. Dane then transitioned to the role of Mornings Announcer, where they worked on the Riverina's HIT 93.1 and provided general content assistance to the Content Director. Currently, Dane holds the position of Content Director South Queensland at Southern Cross Austereo, which they started in September 2022.

Additionally, Dane has experience with Tennis Australia, where they worked as the on-court MC for the Brisbane International in January 2020. In this role, they hosted Kids Day on the centre court, conducted player interviews, and led crowd interactions and dances.

Dane McGuirk completed Year 12 at Brisbane State High School from 1996 to 2000. From 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism at QUT (Queensland University of Technology).
