Brandon Stidham, P.E. has extensive work experience in the field of civil engineering and project management. Brandon started their career as a Field Engineer Intern at Southland Holdings LLC, where they gained valuable experience in heavy civil construction. Brandon then joined the Florida Department of Transportation as a Professional Engineer Trainee, where they rotated through various offices and gained experience in different aspects of transportation engineering. After completing the trainee program, Brandon worked as a Civil Engineer, focusing on Structures Maintenance and participating in the design and construction oversight of structures in District 4.
Brandon later joined Orion Marine Group, where they held the positions of Project Engineer/Surveyor and Project Engineer. Brandon worked on projects involving the construction, repair, and demolition of piers and wharfs for the United States Coast Guard station, Sector San Juan. Brandon also contributed to the reconstruction of the center and south fixed bridges in Boca Grande, Florida.
Currently, Brandon is working at Southland Holdings LLC as a Project Manager. Brandon is involved in multiple projects, including the Brightline Trains Phase 2 bridge and wall contractor for future high-speed rail and FEC corridor, as well as the Veterans Memorial Bridge Replacement in Volusia County/FDOT District 5.
Throughout their career, Brandon has demonstrated expertise in project management, temporary structures design, calculations, surveying, shop drawing review, and quality control.
Brandon Stidham, P.E. obtained their Masters in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering Management from the University of Florida. Brandon attended the university from 2006 to 2010.
