Mayur Sawant

Mayur Sawant has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Mayur is currently working at Southland Holdings as a Project Manager, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Field Engineer at the same company. Mayur joined Southland Holdings as a Field Engineer in January 2019 and worked their way up to their current position. Before joining Southland Holdings, they worked as a Summer Engineering Assistant at NCDOT in 2018. In 2017 and 2016, they interned at Pratham Vighnaharta Infracon LLP.

Mayur Sawant completed a Master's degree in Construction Engineering at North Carolina State University from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Before their undergraduate studies, they attended Pace Junior College in Mumbai from 2011 to 2013 for their Higher Secondary Certificate. Mayur's secondary education took place at Hansraj Morarji Public School from 2001 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Mayur Sawant also obtained two certifications. Mayur completed the Traffic Control Specialist (TCS) - NC State Specific certification from the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) in October 2019.
