Alex Benson

Alex Benson is a retail and restaurant broker at Southpace Properties, Inc. since January 2016, recognized as a CCIM Designee and awarded the 2018 Rising Star in Real Estate by the Birmingham Business Journal. Prior to this role, Alex served as General Manager at Bayer Properties, LLC, overseeing 708,000 square feet of retail and 45,000 square feet of office properties. Alex's career at Southpace began in October 2013 as a Commercial Property Manager, following experience as Head of Property Management at ERA King Real Estate, where responsibilities included managing over 600 properties. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Alabama and graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School.
