Monica Saenz

Monica Saenz is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in public relations and digital media. Currently serving as the Webmaster and Communications Specialist at Southside ISD since September 2021, Monica previously held the role of Public Relations and Development Coordinator at the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind, where significant annual events were executed and brand visibility was enhanced through effective media collaborations. Prior experience includes positions at the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority, City of Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and YWCA USA, where Monica crafted press releases, developed outreach strategies, and managed social media content. Monica holds a Master’s Degree in Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
