Berkin Istanbulluoglu has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Starting in 1999, they worked at Regions Bank as a Loan Review Officer. Berkin then moved on to become a VP - Relationship Manager/National Corporate Banking at Regions Bank from 2003 to 2009. After that, they joined Regions Business Capital/Regions Securities as a Managing Director until 2023. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Vice President - South State Capital Finance at SouthState Bank.

Berkin Istanbulluoglu attended Ted Ankara Koleji for an unknown period. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance at the University of North Alabama from 1997 to 1999. Prior to their enrollment at the University of North Alabama, they attended Vesalius College from 1994 to 1997, majoring in Business Economics.
