Dallas Covington has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dallas began their career in the US Navy, serving as a Surface Warfare Officer from 1996 to 2003. Dallas then joined Aflac and held various positions, including 2nd Vice President, IT, Senior Manager IT PMO, and Account Manager. In 2015, they joined Seibels as the Director and later Vice President of Project Management, where they were responsible for establishing and managing an enterprise Project Management Office. Dallas then worked at The Centrics Group as a Consultant for South State Bank before joining SouthState Bank itself in 2017. Dallas Covington attended the United States Naval Academy from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science. From 2001 to 2003, Covington pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) at Old Dominion University. In addition to these degrees, Covington has additional certifications, namely Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) from LOMA and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
