Debbie Kleinberg

Debbie Kleinberg currently serves as Senior Vice President and Credit Officer for SouthState Bank, overseeing the East Central Florida Region with loan authority up to $15 million. With significant experience in commercial lending and credit underwriting, Debbie has held various leadership roles, including Commercial Underwriting Team Lead at First Vice President, where responsibilities included training a team of underwriters and facilitating successful mergers. As President of Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge, Debbie leads the largest non-profit wildlife rehabilitation facility in Central Florida. Previous positions include Hub Manager at BankUnited, Senior Business Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo, and Commercial Relationship Manager at SunTrust Banks, where Debbie received multiple performance awards. Debbie holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Communications from the University of Central Florida, along with specialized banking education from the Florida School of Banking.
