Elaine McLester

Elaine McLester is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in public sector procurement. Currently serving as Head of Procurement at Southwark Council since October 2015, Elaine has previously held key positions including Procurement Improvement Manager at Surrey County Council and Procurement Manager at Ealing Council. Early career experience includes roles at BBC Resources Ltd, where Elaine advanced from Purchasing Assistant to Senior Buyer, and as a Research Consultant at TMP Worldwide. Elaine holds two degrees in Geography and American Studies, earning a BScEcon 1st Class from Swansea University, as well as additional education from the University of West London and Ohio University.
