Kieron Williams is the current Leader of the Council at Southwark Council. Prior to this, they served as a Governor at Lewisham Southwark College from May 2018 to May 2019, and at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from October 2014 to May 2018. Kieron also worked as the Social Innovation Lead for Scotland, Northern Ireland & Wales at The Young Foundation from April 2014 to August 2016, and as the Chair of the Borough, Bankside & Walworth Children’s Centres Strategic Development Board from September 2017 to July 2020. Additionally, Kieron has served as the National Implementation Advisor at the Early Intervention Foundation from July 2013 to April 2014, and as the Head of Health and Wellbeing at the London Borough of Lambeth from January 2010 to December 2013. Before their work in London, Kieron was the Director of Health Improvement / Head of Health & Wellbeing at Sheffield City Council from January 2001 to December 2009.
