Michael Situ

Michael Situ is a seasoned legal professional and public servant with extensive experience as a Councillor at Southwark Council since 2010. In this role, Michael adjudicates on planning applications for major developments, prepares reports on housing services, and mediates between residents and local businesses. Michael has organized community events and has been instrumental in developing policies to improve youth services. Prior to this, Michael served as a Solicitor Advocate at JD Spicer Zeb from 2010 to 2016, where responsibilities included managing complex cases and supervising trainee solicitors. Earlier experience includes working as an Executive Officer at the Government Legal Department, focusing on preparing court documents. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Law from BPP Law School and has completed the Bar Vocational Course and an LLB in Law from the University of Essex.
